Spiritual power can be transmitted from one person to another, just as one can pass on material things from one person to another. The method of transmitting this  powers from one to another is known as shakti-sanchara. Here, a certain vibration of the enlightened Guru is transferred to the mind of the disciple whom the Guru considers fit for Shakti-sanchara.

Also, it is possible for the enlightened Master to transform the disciple by means of a look, a touch, a thought or a word, or by sheer will-power. Shakti-sanchara usually comes through ‘parampara’ or lineage. It is a mysterious science that is transmitted from the Guru to the true disciple.
