Humility is a quality that comes to a person when he thinks that all things that he has achieved are God’s achievement. A person should always see God and not himself as the ‘doer’. When you can see that everything of importance that you do or say is on account of God, how can you feel any pride for your supposed actions or speech. Humility lies in the heart, it cannot be enacted. You should feel in your heart that everything that you do, even your very ability to breathe, is made possible only by God. All your actions are done by God, through you. When you become conscious of this fact, during every waking moment of your life, you will automatically become humbler than you are at the moment.
